Evan Jager Interview PhotoSince his junior year in high school, Evan Jager (pictured right) has been in the national spotlight.  Time after time Jager has come up big in local and national competitions, his most recent accomplishment being his second place, 13:29.65 5,000m performance at the Payton Jordan Invitational.  Earlier this year we had a chance to sit down with Jager at his family’s home in Algonquin, Illinois.  In our four part interview, Jager talks about his decision to turn pro, what life is like living in Portland and what he expects from himself in 2009.

Part I - Jager discusses his move to Portland the decision behind going professional after only his freshman year of college.
